PROFILE
松﨑ケイリーン（旧姓 ケイリーン フォールズ）はアメリカのミネソタ州出身。ミネソタ大学 日本語学部・デザイン学部卒業後、2014年より東京のデザイン事務所に就職し、大手企業のデザインに関わる。 2018年より独立して、フリーランスのイラストレーターとして活動開始。旅行と食べ物の興味に合わせ、日本で出会うおいしい食べ物を描き始め、現在水彩フードイラストレーターとして作品が400枚を超える。2022年に朝日新聞出版にて日本語/英語バイリンガルのイラスト集・エッセイ集・旅ガイド「日本のいいもの、おいしいもの」を出版。2023年末にスペイン語/日本語版、台湾語/英語版、また韓国語版が発売。現在商業目的の仕事、または個人向けの仕事でイラストを描き続け、ギャラリーやデパートにて作品を展示。
クリエティブ仕事の他、日本語と英語のバイリンガルリポーターとして、国内ニュース番組や海外にも放送するNHKワールド番組などに多数出演。現在NHKワールドの「おいしい東京」と「Dive in Tokyo」、または国内放送のTBS「世界くらべてみたら」にレギュラー出演。テレビCM、ラジオ、ゲーム、アニメなどにも声優とナレーターとしても活躍中。

PROFILE
Born and raised in Minnesota, USA, Kailene Matsuzaki (formerly Kailene Falls) graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Graphic Design and Japanese. In 2014, she relocated to Tokyo where designed for major Japanese brands while working at Japanese graphic design offices. Combining her love of food and travel with her love of art, she began painting the delicious food she encountered while living in Japan. Now freelance, she specializes in watercolor illustration with over 400 works to her name. In 2022, she published her illustrated essay and travel guide, "The Wonderful and Delicious in Japan” though Asahi Shinbun Asahi Shimbun Publications Inc. Originally released as a bilingual Japanese/English publication, the book has now been translated and published in Spanish, Taiwanese, and Korean. Kailene continues to illustrate the food she encounters in Japan working with both commercial and private clients and showing her works in galleries and department stores across Japan.
Kailene also uses her love of public speaking and cultural education to work as a bilingual Japanese/English language commentator and reporter for both local Japanese and international programming. She reports for international audiences on the NHK World programs such as “Trails to Oishii Tokyo” and “Dive in Tokyo” and appears locally on the weekly Japanese variety show “Sekai Kurabete Mitara.” She also lends her voice to radio, commercials, games, and anime
